I really need to cut back on the drinking. Last night I had nearly a whole bottle of cheap shit vodka by doing shots very quickly. At some point it must have suddenly kicked in because I passed the line walking test easily around 10pm and then I have no memories whatsoever of then onwards. My mind is an absolute, utter blank. I do not remember going across London, getting turned away from The Ministry of Sound, being escorted back by * (many thanks and apologies), or being hauled into my room by *.

If that wasn't enough of a wake-up call, my bank statement was. Apparantly I spent 2 grand last month including rent, and most of it went on food and drink.

Went to a great seafood restaurant tonight. It's quite a shock to read the exorbitant prices and then discover that if you want vegetables to go with your fish it costs an extra 2 quid! Bizarely, after eating we saw a limo try to rev it up a one way street until it was confronted by a clamping van. What ensued was a kind of stand-off with each car seemingly sizing the other up for a fight. The limo driver refused to back out and eventually made a ridiculous mess trying to turn into a No Entry sidestreet and blocking the road even more. Then soon after, another car also went the wrong way up the same road where a large traffic jam was forming, and soon after that there was a huge screeching as a car on the main road skidded, swerved and then regained control.

All in all it was a fairly eventful 24 hours.
